The project focused on designing a scalable enterprise learning ecosystem by improving governance, learning workflows and employee experience. Instead of redesigning a single interface, the work combined business analysis, process mapping and UX design to support a future LMS implementation.
Business Analysis
Mapped existing learning workflows, stakeholders and operational constraints.
Process Design
Designed scalable approval flows, governance and learning processes.
Implementation Planning
Prepared implementation-ready documentation and configuration strategy.
Existing learning processes had evolved independently across departments, resulting in inconsistent approval flows, fragmented governance and limited visibility into employee learning. The challenge was to design a scalable learning ecosystem that could support future LMS implementation while aligning business objectives and user needs.
Key Challenges
Fragmented processes
Limited governance
Poor visibility
Future implementation

Cross-functional approval flow identifying inconsistencies, ownership gaps and opportunities for standardization before LMS implementation.
To understand the existing learning ecosystem, I collaborated with business stakeholders to analyze current workflows, governance models and platform limitations. The discovery phase combined workshops, process analysis and existing systems evaluation to identify opportunities before implementation.
1️⃣ Stakeholder Workshops
Facilitated workshops to gather business requirements and align expectations across departments.
2️⃣ Process Analysis
Mapped existing approval flows, ownership and learning lifecycle across the organization.
3️⃣ Systems Evaluation
Reviewed the current platforms to identify usability gaps and configuration limitations.
4️⃣ Requirements Mapping
Translated business needs into implementation-ready requirements and UX improvements.

Rather than focusing on a single interface, the project addressed the entire enterprise learning lifecycle. Mapping each stage helped identify ownership gaps, approval bottlenecks and opportunities to standardize processes before LMS implementation.
Cross-functional ownership
Learning requests required coordination between employees, managers, HR and L&D teams.
Governance before technology
Business rules had to be aligned before configuring the LMS.
Employees should follow one consistent learning process regardless of department.
The redesigned workflow created a foundation for future LMS rollout.
Rather than redesigning isolated screens, the design strategy focused on simplifying learning workflows, clarifying responsibilities and creating a scalable foundation for LMS configuration. Every design decision was guided by business processes, governance requirements and employee experience.
Simplify Learning Workflows
Standardize learning requests and approvals across all departments.
Improve Transparency
Provide clear visibility into learning progress, approvals and responsibilities.
Enable Scalability
Design a flexible structure that can support future organizational growth and LMS configuration.

Exploring AI-assisted requirements analysis
As a follow-up exploration, I designed a generative AI workflow to test how preliminary LMS requirements could be structured, challenged and prioritized more efficiently — while keeping human validation at the centre of the process.
How might generative AI reduce the manual effort required to structure and review complex implementation requirements without replacing human judgment?
01 Extract
Transform raw stakeholder input into structured, individual requirements.
02 Analyze
Identify missing information across triggers, actors, business rules, data, outputs and access.
03 Prioritize
Transform raw stakeholder input into structured, individual requirements.
✓ HUMAN VALIDATION
Reflection
01 — Structure matters
Breaking the workflow into focused prompts produced more controllable outputs than relying on one broad instruction.
02 — AI needs constraints
Explicit rules around assumptions, output format and scope helped reduce irrelevant or invented
03 — Human judgment remains essential
Testing showed that AI could over-classify incomplete requirements as blocked, making human validation an essential part of the workflow.
Rather than delivering a finished implementation, the project concluded with a configuration strategy that translated business processes into implementation-ready recommendations. The goal was to ensure the future LMS could support standardized workflows while remaining flexible for organizational growth.
Standardized Configuration
Business rules and learning workflows were translated into reusable platform configuration guidelines.
Governance Model
Defined ownership, approval responsibilities and administrative roles across the ecosystem.
Future Scalability
Recommendations were designed to support future organizational changes without redesigning the learning experience.
Implementation Readiness
Next Steps
The next phase of the project focuses on platform configuration, user acceptance testing and phased rollout across the organization.
Currently in configuration phase. Implementation and rollout are planned as the next stage of the initiative.
